International Congress and Exhibition on Energy Efficiency /EE/ & Renewable Energy Sources /RES/ for South-East Europe
The parallel realization of the Exhibition and Congress contributes to the events high quality and the excellent attendance by specialists from Bulgaria and Europe.
The success of the exhibition in 2010 clearly demonstrated the interest of investors to the Bulgarian market - 90% growth in participants’ number compared to 2009. RES and EE sector in Bulgaria is very dynamic and has attracted more investors in the recent years. It has proved as a key sector for achievement of economic, social and environmental sustainability. The branch will mark growth over the next decade, according to forecasts of a report of the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission in Brussels. As per statement of the Bulgarian Photovoltaic Association the sector can bring EUR 4 billion to our country and Bulgaria could generate around 4,500 kilotonnes of oil equivalent (ktoe) of renewable energy. The high level indicators of energy consumption give a proof about the great investments opportunities in the energy efficiency sector.

Visitors - 3522 specialists from 33 countries from Europe, the USA and Asia, working in the field of RES, EE, construction and architecture, automation, environment, finance, etc. 49% of the visitors were managers; 24 % - consultants; 15% - marketing and sales; 8% - technical experts.
